Bee Health - Natural Control of Mites

Sylvar adds bee health to an expanding portfolio with the addition of THYMOVAR strips for the treatment for varroa mite and the VARROX vaporizer for oxalic acid treatments. Bee health is an important role in today’s environment. Both THYMOVAR and the VARROX vaporizer offer apiarists tools to manage varroa mites based on products derived from nature.

THYMOVAR contains 15 grams of thymol and is packaged in a sealed unit with 10 (2 X 5) strips. Optimum time to treat is immediately after last honey harvest in late summer when recommended temperatures are still realized.

The VARROX vaporizer represents the simplicity and sturdiness of a simplified tool for the application of oxalic acids. VARROX has been designed to withstand the use in difficult conditions.
