LOOPEX® REGISTRATION APPROVED FOR CANADA

Sylvar Technologies Inc. is proud to announce the registration of Loopex® - a bioinsecticide based on Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcNPV) - for use in greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Loopex offers highly effective biological control of cabbage looper (Trichoplusia ni) larvae. Loopex can be included in any pest control program, especially as an additional resistance management tool for the control of insecticide resistant T. ni populations. Due to its high selectivity, Loopex is a safe option for cabbage looper control in production systems using beneficial insects. Loopex is also approved by Atlantic Certified Organic as an input for organic production systems in Canada.
